RIDGID, a part of Emerson’s professional tools portfolio, announced its participation in the WWETT Show, Feb. 20 – 23, in Indianapolis. The company’s product team will provide hands-on demos of its latest drain cleaning and inspection tools, including a first look at its new K-4310 FXP
Drum Machine and K9-12 FlexShaft Drain Cleaning Machine. RIDGID will also celebrate its 100th
anniversary with entertaining in-booth promotions, plus kick-off of its popular 2023 RIDGID Experience
contest. In addition to in-booth activities, RIDGID product experts will present an educational session where
attendees will learn how smart drain cleaning tools can improve their business.
“Our team cannot wait for plumbers and drain cleaning professionals to experience how we are building more
solutions that will help them clean, inspect and patch pipe more efficiently,” said Jeff Albertini, marketing
director, underground technologies, RIDGID for Emerson. “Professionals always love getting their hands on
new products to see what they can do, and our booth will be jam-packed with opportunities. From integrating
a cable counter into our new K-4310 FXP Drum Machine and the addition of our newest FlexShaft machine to
our latest camera advancements and new Pipe Patching System – we are taking cleaning, inspecting and
patching to the next level.”
RIDGID invites tradespeople to stop by the RIDGID booth (#1141) to experience its innovative drain cleaning,
inspection, and pressing tools, including these latest solutions:
- K-4310 FXP Drum Machine – The K-4310 features an industry-first cable counter that provides real-time, in-pipe cable distance for faster locating and diagnostics. Ideal for residential and commercial plumbing and drain cleaning projects, its powerful 1 ½ HP brushless DC motor spins at 240 RPM and provides long-lasting runtime, with less required maintenance. The battery-powered K-4310 is also the newest addition FXP Technology Platform, delivering cordless freedom;
- K9-12 FlexShaft Drain Cleaning Machine – The K9-12 is the latest in a complete line of RIDGID FlexShaft machines that provide wall-to-wall pipe cleaning power with astonishing speed. The cordless drill-powered K9-12 is the smallest of the FlexShaft machines and perfect for residential use, helping eliminate the need to repeatedly unclog the same household drain lines;
- RIDGID Pipe Patching System – An all-inclusive, start-to-finish solution for faster and simpler trenchless repairs, the Pipe Patching System is the most versatile system on the market, offering more types of repairs with less materials and equipment. Featuring a durable fiberglass patch, it is ideal for repairing small sections of damaged pipe in residential, commercial, and industrial settings; and
- RP 115 Mini Press Tool – The smallest and lightest press tool on the market, designed for residential and lightweight commercial plumbing use. The RP 115 can press 1/2-inch to 3/4-inch copper and stainless-steel fittings. The 5.5-pound tool features a SlimGrip handle and optimized trigger for one-handed operation and a 210-degree head swivel for access to tight spaces.
Additional RIDGID tools available for demo during WWETT include; the 760 FXP Power Drive, FlexShaft
Drain Cleaning Machines, sectional machines, drum machines, jetters, SeeSnake camera systems, locators
and pressing tools. Greenlee, also a part of Emerson’s professional tools portfolio, will join RIDGID in-booth

Cutters, and REEL-X fish tapes.
Along with product demos, the RIDGID brand has several other booth experiences planned. As part of their
100th-anniversary celebration this year, they are hosting a booth meetup on Tuesday, Feb. 21 at
2 p.m. where they will give away a K9-12. Each day they will also give away RIDGID anniversary gear to
those stopping by the booth, while supplies last. Additionally, the first day of the show will kick off the RIDGID
Experience 2023 contest, which continues to grow in popularity with tradespeople, and the RIDGID WWETT
booth will be the first opportunity for attendees to enter for their chance to win a spot on the fifth annual, all-expenses-paid trip to RIDGID’s headquarters.
Outside the booth, two of RIDGID’s product experts will be leading an educational session on “Utilizing Smart
Tools to Improve Your Business,” on Wednesday, Feb. 22 from 2 to 3 p.m. in room 130. They will discuss
advancements in drain-cleaning technology and how to leverage it to drive productivity, improve
communication and reduce downtime.
